14:3. ପୁଣି ଅମତ୍ସିଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ କର୍ମ କଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁର୍ବପୁରୁଷ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପରି ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗାମୀ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସେ ନିଜର ପିତା ୟୋଯାଶ୍ଙ୍କର କୃତ କର୍ମାନୁସା ରେ କର୍ମ କଲେ।

14:3. He did what the LORD approved, but not like David his father. He followed the example of his father Joash.

14:3. Amaziah did what was pleasing in the LORD's sight, but not like his ancestor David. Instead, he followed the example of his father, Joash.
